SCR and ECR score progress over time
The growth dashboard enables you to see score improvements in SCRs and ECRs over any time period you choose, for your entire district, every school, each teacher's classes, and (coming soon!) every student.

If you're familiar with Curipod, you'll know that our SCR and ECR lessons follow a sequence: write, get feedback, reflect, discuss, and revise. This means that students get a score, then the opportunity to improve on that score after feedback, reflection, and discussion. However, in order to give you data to inform progress towards mastery on the STAAR, our growth dashboard only takes account of the first SCR/ECR attempt in each lesson.
Skill mastery and gaps across core TEKS
The gaps dashboard visualizes skill mastery and gaps across twenty core RLA TEKS, showing you what you need to watch or focus on across your entire district, every school, each teacher's classes, and (coming soon!) every student.
Understand where mastery lives and which areas needs more focus
This dashboard takes account of all Curipod-designed RLA lessons that are aligned to the core RLA TEKS, including all the lesson options in "Easy Ways to Get Started" and "Beyond the Basics." Only lessons that have more teacher input (in the "Create your Own" section of the homepage, e.g. "Curify my Slides") are excluded from the gap analysis.
Student SSO setup
In order to provide accurate data in these dashboards, setting up single sign-on (SSO) for students is required. This is typically quick and easy!
Important things to know about student SSO
Even when student SSO is set up, students still don't have user accounts in Curipod.
Nothing changes for students or teachers once student SSO is set up.
Teachers continue to start lessons in the normal way.
Students continue to join Curipod lessons by going to https://curi.live/ and entering the lesson PIN. The only change is that once they've entered the PIN, instead of typing their name, Curipod will automatically direct them to Clever / ClassLink for authentication - which will take less than a second if they are already logged in to Clever / Classlink - and then redirect them back to the Curipod lesson.
Teachers will then see exactly who is who in their moderation tool and lesson reports, and administrators will see exact student data in their writing score insights dashboards.
Districts already using Clever or ClassLink for teacher SSO:
Ask your Clever or ClassLink admin (or IT team) to update the data being shared with Curipod, so that it includes Students (Clever) / Users with student roles (ClassLink).
If they haven't already, ask your Clever or ClassLink admin (or IT team) to create a custom tile for students that links to https://curi.live/. This reduces confusion for students because it means Curipod follows the same workflow as the other apps and tools they use.
Districts not already using Clever or ClassLink for teacher SSO:
Ask your Clever or ClassLink admin (or IT team) to set up data sharing via Clever or Classlink, following the instructions in this article. The only difference is that they will need to share some additional data:
In Clever, they will need to share Students in addition to Schools and Teachers
In ClassLink, they will need to share Users with student roles in addition to Orgs and Users with teacher roles.
Managing student SSO settings
If you are an admin in Curipod, you can manage the student SSO settings for the district or campus(es) you are an admin for. To do this, click on your name near the bottom left of your Curipod homepage, and choose "Organization settings" from the menu.
In the left menu, "Students" will show you which students have joined a Curipod lesson for your organization. "SSO" shows you the student SSO settings enabled for your organization:
We strongly recommend making "PIN + SSO" the default join method. The only reason you may not want do this is if you have students joining lessons frequently who do not have Clever/ClassLink accounts. We also recommend disabling the ability for teachers to change the join method. If you enable this, teachers will be able to turn off the requirement for SSO for their lessons, and this may lead to gaps in your data.
