How can I see what students are doing in an activity in Curipod?

The Moderation Tool lets you monitor student responses in real time, identify who might need support, and make sure responses are appropriate before they're shared with the class.

To open the Moderation Tool:

Tap Content Moderation in the teacher tools at the bottom of your lesson. You can open it in a few ways:

  • On the same device you're using to run Curipod

  • On a separate device (phone or tablet) by scanning the QR code

  • On another device by clicking the link and entering the lesson join code

What you can do in the Moderation Tool

Monitor student progress

While students are responding, you can see who has started, who is still working, and who has finished. Use this to check in with students who haven't started yet, or encourage early finishers to add more detail.

Manage inappropriate responses

If a student submits an inappropriate response, click Dismiss and it won't be displayed when the activity ends.

Review and send AI feedback

Tap Generate Feedback to produce AI feedback for student responses. You can review and edit it before sending it directly to students.

See anonymous nicknames

The Moderation Tool shows you which student has been assigned which anonymous nickname, so you always know who's who.

AI filtering

Curipod also includes automatic AI filtering for responses. You can toggle it on or off within Content Moderation.

When AI filtering is on, responses flagged as inappropriate are automatically kept off the main class screen. You can still see flagged responses in the Moderation Tool. If you think a response was flagged incorrectly, click Undismiss to restore it.
