Once your lesson is created, here's how to run it with your class.

Step 1: Launch the lesson

Click Start Now in the top-right corner.

Step 2: Have students join

Students go to curi.live and enter the pin code, or scan the QR code to join from a tablet. As students join, their names will appear on your screen. Students are automatically assigned anonymous nicknames.

Step 3: Start when ready

Once your class has joined, click Ready in the lower-right corner.

Step 4: Move through the lesson

Use the arrows at the bottom of the screen to advance through slides.

Step 5: Run activities

When you reach a slide with an activity, click Start Now to launch it. There are many different activity types in Curipod — learn more about activity types here.

  • Adjust the timer at any time by adding time or clicking End Activity.

  • After AI Feedback activities click the Give AI feedback button. This sends every student immediate, actionable feedback on their response.

  • Use moderation as needed — tap the settings gear at the bottom of the screen to open the Moderation Tool. Moderation lets you see student responses in real time, flag responses before they're shared, and identify students who may need support. Learn more about Moderation here.

Step 6: Discuss strong responses

After students respond, Curipod will display correct answers, discussion questions, or highlighted student responses. Use these moments to talk through what makes a response effective and how students can strengthen their writing.

Step 7: Second attempt (if included)

Many lessons include a second attempt at the activity. Encourage students to use the AI feedback to revise before resubmitting — students are genuinely motivated by improved scores and feedback.
